In a statement, the company shared that their equity investments in properties throughout the country have totaled over $3 billion over the past five years since we re-entered the market, including underserved markets, populations with unmet needs, such as Native American and farmworker communities, as well as disaster-impacted communities.

According to Michele Evans, executive vice president and head of Fannie Mae’s multifamily business, the DUS (delegated underwriting and servicing) platform is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, relying on shared risk and a strong lender partnership to serve the rental housing market. She said their DUS program plays an essential role in supporting the secondary market and providing a stable source of liquidity. As they continue to serve the market and address its most pressing challenges in the coming year, they look forward to working with our DUS lenders.

Rob Levin, Fannie Mae’s senior vice president and multifamily chief customer officer, expressed their gratitude to their DUS lenders for their partnership and assistance in supporting the multifamily market. The company has built a balanced portfolio while actively participating in all market segments with its lenders.
